Opening times

  • From 1st April to 30 September: 10am-7pm. Late night opening on Fridays and Saturdays until 9pm. 
  • From 1st october to 31 March: 10am-6pm. Late night opening on Fridays and Saturdays until 7pm. 
  • The book and gift shop is open during the art centre’s opening hours.

By road

A10 then ring road A630/E5/E606. Take exit 4 "Zone Industrielle Blanquefort, Bordeaux-Nord". Take Boulevard Aliénor d'Aquitaine, turn left at Place de Latule then immediately right, Boulevard Alfred Daney. Drive for 30 meters more on Boulevard Alfred Daney, the submarine base is on your right. Free parking.

By public transport services

From downtown('Quinconces' stop) 
Tram C, 'Raveziès' stop (place Raveziès is a 20-minutes walk from the submarine base). 
Then bus 9, 'Latule' stop.

From Saint Jean station 
Tram C, 'Raveziès' stop (place Raveziès is a 20-minutes walk from the submarine base). 
Then bus 9, 'Latule' stop.

By public transport services, option with shuttle in high season 

From downtown (Quinconces stop) 
Tram B, 'Cité du vin' stop ('Cité du vin' stop is a 20-minutes walk from the submarine base).
Then shuttle (every 10 mins, duration: 10 mins).

From Saint Jean Station 
Tram C, 'Quinconces' stop.  
Then Tram B: 'Cité du Vin' stop ('Cité du vin' stop is a 20-minutes walk from the submarine base). 
Then shuttle (every 10 mins, duration: 10 mins)

Access

The Bassins de Lumières are accessible to visitors in wheelchairs.

Pets are not allowed in the art centre.
