Retrospective

Klimt - Klee - Klein

Production: Culturespaces Digital®

From Friday 7 July 2023, discover the retrospective of the immersive exhibitions "Klimt / Klee / Klein" and the contemporary creation "Infinite Horizon".

Klimt - Klee - Klein

The first immersive exhibition ‘Gustav Klimt: Gold and Colour’ is based on works by the leading figure of Viennese Symbolist painting. The digital exhibition will present the works that make Klimt a unique and successful artist: his Golden Period, portraits, and landscapes.

The second exhibition has been specifically designed for and adapted to the walls, and designed to create reflections in the water in the the former submarine base: ‘Paul Klee: Painting Colour’. The venue is filled, for around ten minutes, with the colourful and poetic works of the painter and musician. ‘Paul Klee: Painting Music’ takes you to an underwater concerto amidst gold and multicoloured fish, and the rhythm of its geometric structures.

Then, ‘Yves Klein: Infinite Blue’ focuses on this major twentieth-century artist, who set out to turn his life into a work of art. Retracing the artist’s career and his immaterial quest, the immersive exhibition presents the artist’s first works, the Monochromes, which were created in order to express the living world of each colour, but which were perceived by the general public as a polychromatic ensemble.

And also... Infinite Horizon

It is a work that explores the accepted notion of what constitutes a landscape, by using an algorithmic and unique vision that takes us into a world of abstraction in an infinite landscape. There, the perception of every moment opens up our imagination to new and unusual and unexplored lands.

The concept is based on the notion of a horizon of events. From a real horizon to an horizon of events generated by a black hole, other horizons and alternative realities appears.
