The immersive Frida Kahlo experience invites you to explore the intimacy and creative force of the Mexican artist (1907-1954) in an explosion of colors, symbols, and emotions.
Through monumental projections, the walls of the Bassins des Lumières are transformed to reflect the rhythm of Frida's life: from her early works marked by physical suffering and self-discovery to her more assertive paintings that burst with the power of her identity and commitment. Plant, organic, and anatomical motifs come to life, reflecting the evolution of an artist who transformed pain into art, fragility into strength, and the intimate into the universal.
Presented as a short program accompanying the immersive experience Matisse, the Symphony of Colors, this creation offers a vibrant and introspective counterpoint to the French master's chromatic dialogue. Identity, pain, and passion intertwine in a sensory journey where each image seems to pulsate to the rhythm of Frida's heart.
