Memories

In Le Cube

From 19 May 2021 to 2 January 2022

By Spectre Lab

The human brain has infinitely more powerful recording capacity than any computer, however, memory is selective; it sorts, selects and keeps only what it considers potentially useful.

Recognized as one of the main faculties of the human mind, memory will define what we are: it shapes the contours of our identity. Wanting to keep everything is futile: like sand flowing through your fingers, there will ultimately only be a residue of our past experiences. It is this tiny amount of things that defines who we are.Memories makes the visitor think about the immensity of the world and the place we occupy in it. In total immersion in a flow of images and information, everyone is free to retain in memory a little of what constitutes the essence of this enchanted interlude.

Spectre Lab, multidisciplinary creative studio, was created in 2014 by Marc Vidal, Jérôme Sérane and Philippe Granier.
