Online booking of your time slot is strongly recommended.

Opening times

  • From April to September: 10am-7pm. Late night opening on Fridays and Saturdays until 9pm. 
  • From October to March: 10am-6pm. Late night opening on Fridays and Saturdays until 7pm.
  • Autumn Half-term Holidays : 10am - 7pm evey day.
  • Christmas Break : 10am - 8pm every day. Opening 11am on 25th December 2020 and 1st January 2021. 
  • The book and gift shop is open during the art centre’s opening hours.
  • Last entrance 1hr15 before closing
  • Visit duration : 1hr

By road

A10 then rocade A630/E5/E606. Go out sortie 4 « Zone Industrielle Blanquefort, Bordeaux-Nord ». Turn left into Boulevard Aliénor d'Aquitaine, turn left into Place de Latule then immediatly turn right into Boulevard Alfred Daney. Continue on Boulevard Alfred Daney, the Base sous-marine is on your right. Free parking. 

Public transport

From downtown (stop Quinconces) 
Tram C : stop Raveziès (towards Blanquefort or parc des expos)
Then bus n°9 : stop base sous-marine (towards Brandenburg)

From Saint Jean railway station  
Tram C : stop Raveziès (towrads Blanquefort or parc des expos)
Then bus n°9 : stop base sous-marine (towards Brandenburg)

The Bassins des Lumières are accessible to visitors in wheelchairs

The use of buggies is permitted

Pets are not allowed in the art centre

The program in the Bassins des Lumières may present risks for people with epilepsy and is not suitable to very young children
