What are the prices?

The entrance fees to the Bassins des Lumières are as follows:

  • Full price - €16
  • Senior rate (over 65) : €15
  • Reduced price : €12.50
  • Youth rate (ages 6-25 inclusive) : €9
  • Bordeaux Métropole Youth Card price (for cardholders only) : €7
  • Family rate (2 adults + 2 young people aged 6 to 25 inclusive) : €43

Free admission (reservation required and proof of eligibility required) :

  • Children under 6 years old
  • Individuals holding a disability card or one of the following certificates: AAH, AEEH or ASI. Please note, RQTH certificates are not accepted .
  • Beneficiaries of minimum social benefits: ( RSA , specific solidarity allowance ( ASS ), solidarity allowance for the elderly ( ASPA ), allowance for disabled adults ( AAH ), supplementary disability allowance ( ASI ), allowance for asylum seekers ( ADA ) or solidarity income ( RSO ).
  • Journalists (upon presentation of a valid press card)
  • Tour guides and interpreter guides
  • Members of ICOM and ICOMOS
  • Members of the art critics' association or members of the art press union

Reduced price (booking strongly recommended) :

  • Students
  • Teachers and job seekers - upon presentation of proof less than 3 months old
  • (Carers of a person with a disability and holders of a large family card)

For groups (minimum 20 people) :

  • Group rate, starting from €12.50
  • School rate €7
